Georgetown.

When they are on, they are incredible. The first half against UW they looked OK, then they turned it on in the second half.
Against Duke they were just incredible. Now in the first half against a very good Nova team, they are up by about 20. Oh yeah, they lost to South Florida earlier this week.

Excluding Gonzaga@Memphis.

Hoyas killing Nova and the Johnnies giving Huggies' team a scare thus far.

Dayton is handling Xavier at the half, 41-28, in an A-10 showdown. Zags host Xavier in K2 next season.

Tony Bennett's Virginia team up 34 -29 over Wake Forrest at the half. I guess I should pull for WF, but I'm kind of looking for Bennett to represent the old hood well back east.

I'll also still be stalking my favorite former recruit, Jeff Taylor, when Vanderbilt plays Georgia at 5:00 Pacific. Not sure which channel it's on. I'll check in via ESPN360.

Wake wins in overtime 64-61.

Every little bit helps. Zags will take it. :)

This time of year is crazy. South Florida beats Georgetown, then Hoyas dominate #2 Nova.

I feel for DC and all that snow but, to paraphrase Han Solo, Better them than us.

Yeah, we had our two years in a row of heavy snow. I've enjoyed this winter a lot more. It allowed me to drive to Rosalia last night to watch the undefeated Spartans - fun stuff. They won their first outright Whitman County title since 70-71. I had never been to a Whitman County League game. There were more people in attendance than at most GSL games.

Those small towns are a blast. I was talking to some Mullan girls players and they just appreciate the little things so much.

Yeah, there is a lot of "community" in the samll towns, and it carries over to the bigger ones. I met a young guy yesterday that is attending the Gonzaga law school, and conversation led to learning that I had watched him play at the B Tournament in 2002 for Day Star Christian from Moses Lake. His Dad had been the coach. Jordan had gone to Whitworth, now Gonzaga, and is also working with a neighborhood improvement agency to develop a Spokane International District on East Sprague. The B Tournament experience created a common bond.

Richmond might hang on to beat #17 Temple. The spideys.

Looks like #11 K-State will hold off Iowa St.
