    A little Tommy Lloyd History

Funny how things work out. Good thing Monson encouraged him to go play in Europe for a year.

Thanks. I saw that story in the Walla Walla paper, but it was subscription so I couldn't read it. Nice that Jim was able to pick it up for us to read.

77 - Thanks for posting the history lesson on Lloyd -- great read!

Same Article, easier to read maybe, and a different picture!

Kelso Grad Tommy a Component of Zags' Success

Tommy was my basketball idle as I grew up in Kelso with my older brother being a year behind him. Great family and Tommy is a class act. I remember he and my mom talking one day in town and he mentioned he was heading off to talk to a high schooler in Chicago (turned out to be Jeremy Pargo), before his name popped up on the old message board. Fond memories of listening to State playoff games in orchestra instead of actually having class and hearing Tommy and others (Hight, LiaBraaten, Chilton, Milne, etc). Fond memories. Tommy is an amazing individual and one who I'd want on my staff any day! Got to see my first game at GU because of him!

Keep up the good work Tommy.

Still my favorite pic of Tommy, talking to Matt Bouldin at the end of the Feb. 07 Memphis game ....

I loved the insight on Tommy's relationship with Ronny Turiaf on "Before the Bigs," especially in this Youtube segment, #3.
