Coaches from Michigan and Michigan State will be watching 6'8" 245# SO Jordan Morgan go through individual workouts for them next week, while Xavier has just been in to see him go through drills already.

Ironically, Jordan learned some of his skills at Gonzaga's summer skills camps.

Individual work outs?

Is this a normal part of the recruiting process? I guess so, but hadn't heard this reference before for anything but pro prospects.

Sorry for my ignorance.

Hopefully we'll be out there soon? Man, I'd hate to let Jordan slip away! Is Jordan coming to any more GU camps this summer? Anyone? Anyone?

Last I knew J is not planning on coming to camp this summer because he wants to go to some other summer camps at other schools (not MI/MSU/Xavier). GU camp is the only school camp he's ever come to, and he's come twice now. He could come for an official visit for sure.

He has already had an official visit at Xavier, they are pumping hard for him. Stanford also hitting him hard. I can't see him attending any of the 3 schools that are watching these workouts because 1) MSU is not strong enough academically, 2) UM still suffers since Webber-gate 3) J told me he is not interested in going to Xavier, although it is a good Jesuit school.

I thought it was strange he was able to have these workouts for schools, but I am guessing it must be ok....??? anyone???

Btw, fwiw, his rivals profile is being updated. At least now he has some stars... LOL. Go to class of 09 and click PF and you'll see him there. There are more schools to add to that list (Arizona, Indiana and Purdue).

Also wanted to add that he is busy playing baseball now, so no AAU basketball for the time being. Could be why his HS basketball coach is putting him through these workouts. ???

Otherwise known as open gym. The HS coach can put kids through any kind of workout he wants, be it individuals or just a pick-up game. :)

That's the best part, lothar. And if coaches the caliber of Izzo, Beilein and Sean Miller are already that interested, it doesn't take a genius to figure how legit this kid is.

Awesome pic indeed. The blonde in the stands doesn't know it, but she's about to get a reverse "Wilson" tattoo on her forehead.

(btw, I've heard of calf muscles, but I didn't know calf muscles had muscles......great googly moogly!!!)

I thought that was a sexual joke a first, I'm a little slow today, but now I get it and it's pretty funny. He looks like a specimen for someone who is only in grade 10.

fwiw, Few et al were the first to recruit him, followed by Izzo. They both sent letters at the beginning of his freshman year (via his coach).
