Exactly... top 10 garners more in-depth coverage of games.

Nice recognition, but a little too high IMO.

Perhaps, but a product of teams above them choking in league play. If teams want to stay top 10 they can't lose.

                  5 spots too high

5 too high, imo....it lends an inaccurate picture of where the seed wd be.....as we know, being 10 doesnt mean a high 3 seed

Yippee! Guarantees they'll have to not let us slide off the radar going deeper into conference play.

                      Beautiful ranking.

Six straight wins, four on the road, three against the other projected top teams in the conference.

No Pac 10 Teams in Top 25

There were no Pac-10 teams in the Top 25 and only two PAC-10 teams listed in the others receiving votes category - ASU at about 33 and Cal with 1 vote. Ouch.

St. Mary's is getting noticed with 16 points in the others receiving votes category.

A lot of people are saying this is too high, i really don't see why that is the case. While the teams we are jumping ahead of are losing to tougher conference opponents, we are playing a much tougher out of conference schedule and that is where we tripped up. We deserve top 10 now, we have beaten some good teams like Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Illinois, etc. We hung tough with Michigan st. and everyone knows the Duke game was an aberration.

Not only are we top 10, but if anyone loses in front of us and we continue to dominate in conference as expected, we will continue to climb higher. I would not be surprised with a top 5 ranking towards the end of conference play, this of course is contingent on wins at Memphis and at home against Saint Mary's and Portland. LETS GO ZAGS!
