    Leon Rice-Tom Hudson post game

Leon starts out saying we won three tough ones on the road, people look from afar and say Gonzaga is 3-0, what's the big deal. Well Portland was building toward one of the biggest games in a while for them and we took that, and you know what the St. Mary's win is all about, and then we come to USD where they make you guard for 35 seconds and they have some guys who can terminate plays. It's always tough to play like that, grinding every possession. Rice says the Zags are getting more consistent in their game like on the boards. Meech doesn't think he is playing as good as he can, but he's starting to understand he has two great wings and two good big men. He's understanding his role, he really is a good shooter and he took the shots he needed to take tonight. Harris is OK, didn't say more than that regarding his spill. He is maturing right before your eyes. Young players start to trust their coaches and grow as a player as time goes by. Not many freshman like him in the country. Sacre had a good game running out to guard on balls like he did tonight is quite different from what he had to do against St. Mary's, running around like that is tough on a 7 footer. We're glad to go home and excited to get in front of our students again. There gonna say, hey, you guys got better since Christmas. Hudson said the Zags have taken a step toward winning the WCC yet again and Rice said winning the league is the cornerstone of our program and that's what we want to do. Thanks Huddy Buddy!

I'm looking forward to Tom Hudson's Mark Few Show on Monday at noon. It was really good the last time I listened.
