I had posted something on another thread, but so giddy that I felt the need to start a new thread. Now I get to watch Jason play every single game.

OT: Congratulations Jason Bay
Per the New York Daily News, Jason Bay has signed a 4 year 66 million dollar deal to play for the Mets. Good to remember that Men's BB is not the only sport launching professional athletes into the world.
I bet the Alumni giving department will be giving Jason a call!
Go Bulldogs! Get Bigger!Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I'm happy for Jason Bay although still bummed the Padres traded him to Pittsburgh several years ago. We had Jason Bay and got rid of him, but that's the way the Padres roll, which was to Jason's benefit in the end.It's not the size of the Bulldog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the Bulldog!
GO ZAGS!!!

So glad the m's didn't take on Bay at this over priced rate and for too long. He doesn't fit safeco and doesn't have much of a glove. He's probably the 4th best LF behind Ryan braun, Carl Crawford, and Matt Holliday. Maybe Manny IDK. Would have been cool to have a zag on the mariners but not at that price when he is only gonna add about 3-4 wins to the team. Better money spent elsewhere
