Twin Falls travels to Skyview tomorrow and Skyview also plays the next night. Might boost Kyle's performance if he saw a bunch of Zag jerseys in the stants to cheer him on.

The Bruins travel to defending state champion Skyview on Friday, and there will face another brilliant outside shooter in Terrell Rowe. That will be a litmus-test game on a number of levels for Twin Falls, as well as for Minico, which plays Skyview the following day whileTwinFalls plays Nampa.

“It’s just nice to see what the other end of the state has,”saidTwin Falls coach MattHarr. “Our players are gunning for Friday. I think there’s a lot of people in the Boise valley that will be there. It helps us and helps the players, and we’re probably going to face the best player in the state (in 6-foot-4 point guard Kyle Dranginis, who’s reportedly got Gonzaga’s attention)— and he’s only a junior.

ZagNative, ZagNative, ZagNative! How many times do I have to tell you that Nampa is NOT Boise??? The correct title for your post would be "Those in the Nampa area - which would include Boise. Skyview is in Nampa. Thanks.:)

ZagNative cannot seem to stay out of El Voce's doghouse. ZagNative is, sadly, geographically challenged.

This would be lovely downtown Nampa, swarming with merry Christmas shoppers:

All roads lead to Nampa. I believe the difference between Nampa and Boise, in addition to 20 miles, is they still say "Merry Christmas" in Nampa, whereas in Boise, they say "Happy Holidays."

Yes Skyview plays an excellent Twin Falls team that use to be 5A last season that went to State. They return 4 starters from last season but have moved down to 4A this year. Skyview won last year at Twin and Dranginis was unknown then and snuck 19 points on them. Look for Twin to force others to score. That game is at 7:30pm in Nampa and then Skyview plays Minco High School at 12:30pm (real early afternoon game) on Saturday so you might just want to spend the night. Minco features 6 players over 6'6". One player is 6'10" and one is 6'8". Should be another real test for Skyview.

There's a chance Skyview could be the underdog in both games. Should be good games to watch for Mountain Home area Zag fans. As is well-known, Boise, Nampa and Caldwell are mere suburbs of the great metropolis of the lovely city of Mountain Home.

And if you disagree, Mountain Home has a SAC AFB that can make you disappear real quickly. :)

Went thru Mountain Home in October, BZ. Must have taken a wrong turn as I missed the scenic parts.;)

In case you can't read between the lines, BobZag and El Voce were members of rival street gangs in Nampa and Mountain Home and to this day are prone to fire on each other on sight, and the bad blood spills over here on guboards. BobZag, unfortunately, had to bring out the heavy armament with his basillion-pixel photos here, making the thread all but unreadable by law-abiding citizens.

We'll meet again later, Average Joe, and next time we'll invite only grownups.

Looking forward to reports of the weekend's games.

Well, obviously, you didn't stop and sample the fine cuisine and culture, 50.
You most likely stayed on the Mountain Home Freeway. :p
