SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Gonzaga University senior guard Matt Bouldin is the West Coast Conference men's basketball Co-Player of the Week for his efforts in the Bulldogs split with Washington State University and Wake Forest University.

Omar Samhan of Saint Mary's College was the other co-recipient.

Bouldin scored a career-high 28 points against WSU as the Bulldogs battled from a 15-point deficit to come back for a 74-69 victory. He went 8-for-15 from the field against the Cougars, including 7-for-12 from 3-point range. The seven 3-pointers were also a career high.

Against Wake Forest, the native of Highlands Ranch, Colo., scored 22 points, going 6-for-12 from the field, as the Bulldogs almost overcame a double-digit deficit for the fourth time in five games before the Demon Deacons prevailed 77-75.

For the week Bouldin scored 50 points for a 25.0 ppg average, went 14-for-27 from the field for 51.9 percent, 9-for-18 from 3-point range for 50.0 percent and 13-for-16 from the free throw line for 81.3 percent. He also grabbed 9 rebounds, had 6 assists a block and 3 steals.

Oh! And this thread needs a Pic! Not from that story, but a screen shot from a KREM 2 Video of an interview with Matt Nov. 14.

Just sayin'... That is one great-looking kid, and he plays him some good ball, too.

    GO MATTY B! GO ZAGS!

I sure wish I could change the question on my internet banking for favorite athlete from Tiger Woods to Matt Bouldin.
