It is really quite amazing that the coaching staff has been able to get these young players competing so well. What impressed me the most last night was the ability to adjust the game plan at halftime. While I was drinking beer, Few and Co. were adjusting the x's and o's and the players responded. I wouldn't have guessed that Grant Gibbs would play a major role at a critical point last night, or that KO would be making big plays at crunch time. To me, it seems Few gives players an opportunity to make a difference when other coaches would retreat to using their starting 5. Couple this coaching with the type of kids they have recruited and you have a winning combination... Hats off to the coaches (and sorry for the things I say at halftime).
