Hey Few, I just got word of a new recruit for you in 2028. Cooper Steven Pouley. Currently only 16 hours old, 8lbs, and 21 inches tall, but oh the upside. Keep him on the radar.

Yous Truly,
Spike (aka Proud Papa)

21 one inches, sound like a major player that can play the 1-5 spots. Though we need pics to make sure. Post pis as soon as possible. Congrats and many blessings on your new son.

Be advised there are to be no pictures w/o Zag gear. :lmao:

Congrats!

As for TZF's contribution to the Zag family, Nate's in heavy preparation for his freshman year in 2020. Our HS lost in the third round of the Texas 5-A playoffs, 31-29, on a field goal as time expired (they had fought back from a 21-0 deficit). He's got the ball handling skills and leadership abilities to run the point, and has already won awards for his teamwork.

Nate's unwillingness to accept defeat was noticed by a player's father, who remarked "never accept defeat, never give up."

Sorry for hijacking your thread. ;)

Long, athletic, super-soft hands -- exactly what we need in that class!

Congratulations, Spike!

Here is a nifty source book to get him through the next 2 challenging months. Be very clear about this. If you want him cool under pressure, this is the ticket.

And oh yes, whisper in his ear, Cougars doodey. Huskies icky.

Does he project out to be a center? According to my long-range recruiting plan, he'll fit in there. :)

Congrats to the Spike94 family.

I hope he squeezes in at least a year as a Zag, and doesn't jump straight to the league. Congrats.

You guys are awesome. True story here. One of the nurses at the hospital while we delivering has a son that is currently a Frosh at GU that live in DeSmet. After the birth I was wispering in Cooper's ear all the wonderful things he has to look forward to. A beautiful, loving mommy. Great aunts and uncles. A fantastic older brother and going to his first Zag game in January at USF. She heard this and told me about her son and asked me what I thought about GU. I told her that I feel like it is a family. We can see one another for the first time and we have a history together that we can share and laugh and cry (Father Tony) about. I just want all of you know that I was looking forward to telling all of you about the coming of Cooper just like I was looking forward to telling my brothers or sister. This thread is awesome. It has brought me great joy to read the funny and loving words you have written. You have proven my words true. We are a family. And I appreciate you all very much.

P.S. The Dr. this morning told me that Coop has big hands. So I was thinking Point Guard. Just like Stockton's hands. Huge, soft and able to dish the rock.

P.S.S. Now that I know his size better I am going to be ordering the Zag gear tonight. I will get the pics, with the gear, up as soon as possible.
