Dish has GU tonight. Is Portland vs EWU on television (or are their tickets left)? And I'd love to be watching Davidson v Butler right now (Davidson up 27-20).

SWX. I'm not sure Dish has that channel. Comcast does. Plenty of tickets available.

You can also watch Porland and EWU on the net here (http://goeags.com/links/s7r5ld). Credit to the Pilot board. Go to the "Watch live now" green box. You have to register, but it's free.

Portland only up 1 in the second half, 28-27. Ugly. I'm not buying what UP is selling so far. Still bad on the road.

Portland can't buy a game on the road. Not a sign of a great team, IMO. Hopefully, they can pull it out vs EWU. The WCC really needs to start win.ing these type of games.

Agreed - the WCC would get a lot more respect (and a better RPI) if teams could win games like that on a consistent basis. Hopefully Portland pulls this one off, but my video feed just died apparently. *sigh*

Portland starting to pull away: 51-42 with 4 mins remaining. Go Pilots!

Looking at the box-score, it looks like Portland should be dominating - +10 rebounding margin, 18% better shooting %, and shooting 53% from 3. Their problems have been fouls - Eastern has made 5 more FTs than Portland has attempted - and 14 TOs (mostly in the first half). Maybe once the Pilots get more settled into the groove of the season, they'll fix those problems because stat-wise, the rest of their performance was pretty good.

Portland doing the usual; shooting 55% from downtown. They were a terrific 3-pt shooting team last year(43% as a team), yet GU was able to hold them well below their average in both our games.

TJ Campbell is a 3-pt assassin, as he shot over 50% last season and is currently 4 for 6 against Eastern. His stroke reminds me of Raivio -- Derek that is.

Looks like they're gonna pull it out vs EWU. A win is a win, but to be honest I expected a bit more from Portland tonight. Their bread 'n butter is working(3pt shot) but the inconsistent defense and turnovers haven't improved from last year. I'm sure they'll improve, because with their ability to shoot the long ball, they have a genuine shot at upsetting several teams this year...it'd be great to see them ranked at some point.

Remember they lost at home last year to EWU. They weren't dominating but I don't think they ever will be. They are just a solid team with a lot of experience. I am curious to see how they do against UW .
