Looking at Alberta's roster, Leigh is a Junior out of Handsworth Secondary in North Van. Wouldn't that put Leigh and Big Rob in the same class in high school (give or take a year)? Small world...

Rob and Scott played together for 3 years at Handsworth. Including the year they won the Provincial Championship. (Beating Bol Kong's team in the semi finals)

There was a few years there where North Vancouver had the top talent in all of Canada, with Tyler Kepkay (Utah) and Scott Morrison (Portland State) also playing high school ball at the same time. There where several other players who also played (and are still playing) CIS ball as well.

I think that UA could compete with the bottom half of the WCC and other conferences.
