There will be no respect until Thanksgiving following a good Maui showing and you're right, it's fair.

Some of the other rankings, well, at this time we all have our opinions.

By the end of next year, the world will be sick of Bulldogs. Butler this year, GU next.

Go ZAGS!

I think GU's ranking, or lack thereof is more than fair at this point, yet I think Winn's Top-33 rankings are bogus, especially considering what these teams accomplished last year -- absolutely nothing. It appears Luke based his rankings purely on the # of players/starters returning to their respective teams. For example, not sure how or why teams such as BYU, MSU, USC, Clemson, Tulsa, Florida, or even Ohio State are ranked ahead of the Zags. Many of the teams listed between (#16-33) kinda came outta nowhere, IMO. Did he pick teams at random to complete his "Second 16"?

I'm just glad he didn't have Kentucky in his top 3. Yeah, let's revisit after Maui, and we'll be talking Top 20.

Go Zags!!!

You gotta remember, nobody knows anything about this class. Until they prove themselves to the nation, we're the only ones who know what they are capable of.

I love the role of underdog. Much preferable than having a high preseason ranking and being unranked at the end of the season. GoZags

I would argue that very few on here even know what these guys are capable of at this point. Right now, its very speculative with these guys

Fair enough, but after watching them numerous times, you kind of get an idea of how good.

Butler has two seniors, one of whom will be starter in 09-10. From now through about 12 (and I dont really see why it would stop there), what you see is sort of what you get.
