Isn't that the same Tourney that cost Monson his job at Minnesota last year?

Wow, that's quite a list of teams. Who knows how good they'll be in 2 years, but I'm betting it'll at least be pretty decent with that many big names. This year's tourney is not as big in terms of big names with George Mason, Kansas State, North Carolina State, Penn State, Rider, South Carolina and Villanova. Still, not bad.

After the final, I wonder if the ESPN reports will go up to the coach and ask, "Coach, you've just won the Old Spice Classic. What are you going to do?"

What would the answer be? "I'm going to... oh, wait. Nevermind." :D

Sounds like they've lined up great pre-season tournaments next season and again in 2008.

Will they be going back to Maui in 2009?

Isn't it a little soon to be making acquaintances again with Pokie State (OK All College Classic in 2004, Battle in Seattle in 2005 -- come on, you guys surely remember Morrison's 3, right?) and Maryland (2005 Maui Invitational) ???

Not to mention Michigan State (arguably the most memorable game of the 2005 Maui Invitational) and Memphis.
