Summer school ends next week and the guys will return home to refresh themselves before returning for Fall Semester.

We really don't know what recruits the staff are truly serious about until we hear or read who is visiting. I expect this to trickle out via articles, and some may arrive on campus with no warning.

In the meantime, Elias may play in a game or two for the German National Team, so we'll follow those. And, of course, the Eighth Wonder of the World will be stepping on campus.................sometime or other.

The WCC schedule should be released sometime in August, allowing fans to start making plans.

So enjoy summer, take in the lake(s), enjoy a movie or two, get that vacation in, and if anything new in the world of Zag pops up, it'll be posted on here ASAP.

Things will really pick up in September.

BZ, would you expect that he whose name must be uttered in hushed tones would arrive before the dorms open for the fall season August 28th? Are the lamentations of the faithful wasted until that time? (Academic calendar for Fall semester (http://www.gonzaga.edu/About/Academic-Calendar/Academic-Calendar-2009-2010.asp))

Hopefully, we'll have the monotony of a basketball-less summer broken by pics of the team on their lake outing in late August as well.

Cute dog! I didn't know pitbulls could have two different color eyes.

Mendiant - it is a mix of lab and boxer. The lab portion had a little bit of husky in it, so they think that is where the blue eye came from

Do you suppose they wear sox to go swimming in Texas?

In my warm house this evening, that water is looking pretty good ...
