This may come in handy in the future to browse around the country and see how things are going in the sports world. There were many times during past seasons when I would have like to logged on to a game elsewhere in the country and did not have that option:

is being phased into Comcast cablecast line-ups as we post.

From a Bob Condotta (http://blog.seattletimes.nwsource.com/huskyfootball/2009/07/22/wednesday_random_notes.html) Blog, today, about an unspeakable Western Wa team for the Seattle Times. Don't get any of that other stuff on your shoe ;)

"--- By the way, if you're like me and live in the greater Seattle area and get Comcast, ESPNU showed up on the dial as Channel 400 today. That's the channel that will carry the Skyline-Oaks Christian game Sept. 18 and previously was not part of the Comcast tier. You can also get ticket info here. (http://skylinegridiron.com/)
UPDATE --- I'm informed that ESPNU's addition is being staggered and that nont all areas of Seattle will get it at the same time."

Was this posted previously? From today's Spokesman Review (http://www.spokesman.com/stories/2009/jul/22/comcast-adds-torrent-of-hd/):
Spokane cable TV customers can dive into dozens of new high-definition channels to be offered by Comcast Corp. starting Aug. 5.

Depending on subscribers’ cable packages, viewers will be able to see up to 64 additional high-definition channels, according to company spokesperson Shauna Causey.

The extra programs are offered at no extra cost.

Many of them are HD versions of already available standard-definition channels. Included in the group are Fox News HD, MSNBC HD, ESPNU HD, MTV HD, Travel HD and VH1 HD.

ESPNU is a sports channel that sometimes is the only way for Gonzaga University basketball fans to watch some games.
