Tremendously efficient scoring by Elias, but yet another high TO # by a future Zag. There'll definitely be some growing pains next years as guys like Elias, Manny, and Kelly gain some experience, but hopefully have some experience in the starting backcourt will help ease that transition.

Harris almost won the game for Germany. He scored 7 points in the final 1:24 (including a 3 pointer). He had a huge steal with under a minute left. He also pulled down a defensive rebound with 10 seconds left, drove the length of the floor and dished out the assist that tied the game at 77.

Here is Elias' Fiba profile page (http://www.fibaeurope.com/Default.asp?cid={5179A822-D4B1-4476-AD04-EDBC445D6DC6}&teamID=288&compID={792A6AB7-C6A6-434B-BEA5-9BF1BC619DB4}&season=2008&roundID=6623&playerID=53063), showing his accumulated stats. There are photos on that page, but they appear to all be from the 2008 season.

I like that FG %

Some of those photos are from Elias' U16 days.

The big hole Germany put themselves in early really doomed them. A tough loss. Ukraine is tomorrow and they're real good.

Nice offense by our man.

Did anyone watch the game? Who does he remind you of, as in Gray reminds us of Ray Allen.

It shows great attitude that he continued to play hard following turnover problems, and possible foul troubles.
