Utes-Zags "must win" Game Thread

It will be interesting to see who Coach Mac starts at pitcher, AJ Proszek or Matt Fields. I liked AJ when I saw him pitch against LMU, but that said, Matt has proven himself to be the best the Zags have. But how much did those 75 pitches take out of Fields Friday?

Oh well. Just play like wild banshees today and hope to win two.

First pitch vs Utah: 2:00pm
First pitch vs Fullerton: 6:00pm (if Zags beat Utes)

Zags took the lead, 4-3, but only briefly. Utah went ahead 5-4, then tacked on 3 more in the sixth. It's 8-4 Utes in the seventh. Not looking good for the Zags right now.

Zags rally but fall short, losing 9-7. Utah out-hit Gonzaga and earned the win.

GU's season comes to an end.
