Zags put up 7 runs in the top of the first and chase Georgia State's ace.

You can listen to the game on the 'net for free:

I can think of worse ways to start a game...

Go Zags!!!

Fields isn't real sharp, he gives up 2 in the second-inning, but if he can get into a rhythm, I like the Zags' chances.

7-2 in the 3rd.

If you can't find the baseball action anywhere else go here:

Go to the upper right hand corner and click on the Fullerton bracket. You will find a game tracker, currently GU 7-Geo. Sou. 2 in the second inning. And if you already have or want to download Microsoft Silverlight you will be able to listen live. This will be available throughout the tournament.

Matt Fields can't get an out, gives up the most he has all season. Ouch.

both starters are done

& it's now a 6 inning battle between bullpens...

in other baseball news, interning down with the portland beavers and saw clayton mortensen pitch a hell of a game yesterday. i believe, 7 IP with only 1 ER, also stole a base in the 2nd. triple AAA with the cardinals already, looks like he's doing alright for himeslf

Castellito homers with 2 on in the top of the 6th to make it 13-8. This game may end up taking more than 4 hours to play.

GU's strategy appears to be "Don't Stop Scoring"

another 3 run HR & the score is now 16-8 in bottom of the 7th

Anyone getting audio?

After looking at GU's stats, you have to think the GSU is stunned at the offensive explosion. GU's bats stayed hot from last Sat.

19-10 ZAGS!

Great effort by Berg out of the pen!

Congratulations Zags!!!

Who missed the PATs?

It looks like GSU was playing bowling for Zags. Five Zags hit by pitches, Synegal twice.

If GU makes it to the CWS, I may have to road trip. My bro. (Omahazag) lives about six blocks from Rosenblat. Who's in!

Hello fellow Zags. Wish you all could have been there. Plenty of seats and lots of actions. This was my first time watching the Zags baseball team and these boys were awesome. Now tomorrow is another story. That's when my two pasts come together for the first time. Just surreal but still....GO ZAGS!
