There I was, enjoying the fact that Tony Bennet was named Chevrolet Coach of the Year, when they show his name with THE HUSKY W next to it. I about had a heart attack. I can't imagine the riots in Pullman...

On the other hand, Durant may just be the guy who gets me watching NBA basketball again. I just hope he keeps his nose clean, because he seems like such a great kid.

Fred, that you? ;)

Whoa, that's a major insult and denegration to the WSU program.

I wonder how many of the poster "get" that reference?

Probably none under 30.

ps. Excellent job by Bennett this year

23dpg actually it maybe no one under 40.

Instead of insulting WSU perhaps having the Dawg W next to Bennet's name was an attempt to upgrade the Huskies if that is possible.:lmao:

At 20, I must say I'm lost...

It's really unfortunate that even with the success of WSU this year the national media can't figure this out. What a shame...

Sanford and Son reference.

From Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanford_and_Son#.22This_is_the_big_one.21.22):

"This is the big one!"

When Fred Sanford was not getting his way, he would often clutch his chest and fake a heart attack by saying words to the effect of "Oh, this is the big one! You hear that, Elizabeth? I'm comin' to join ya, honey!" as a sympathy ploy. Fred often would resort to this tactic when Lamont announced plans to leave for a better profession. Lamont had long since been wise to this tactic, but always wound up staying or giving into his father's wishes.

There's some TV that couldn't get made today. And wow, I'm older than I thought!

Sanford & Son would've been expunged from my mind a long time ago if it weren't for Samford. Every time they make the tournament Bong picks them in our pool and start singing the Sanford & Son theme.

Ba ba BA bup. Ba ba BU bup. Ba ba BADA bada ba, bada bada bada BA ba ...ba. MOW.

you wanna know what old is? Old is looking at the photo of Feddie Prinze and remembering it was like yesterday and then realizing that HIS SON IS MIDDLE AGED! And as long as we are completely digressing, did anyone see that episode of Boston Legal last night in which William Shatner kept flashing back to one of his first trials with his father? It was actually from an actual episode of Studio One in 1957 in which Shatner co-starred with Ralph Bellamy. Now it really is time to get back to basektball.
