...and remove one or more of GU's NCAA tourney losses from the record books, would you? If yes, which game or games would you remove?

Clarification/Catch: The loss is "removed" by GU losing the previous round (or not making the NCAAs) and never playing the game you are removing.

Explain your answer(s).

Removal of one loss in your scenario could mean two losses. Now, if the poll were to say which game makes you want to puke the most...that'd be easier!

go zags!!!

Change history, and the ZAGS aren't where they are.

History is a learning tool. We're all so lucky that Few and company have learned so much.

If there are more threads with Lothar's posts one after another (like the Mock Draft), that Cowbell's got to go! ;)

:agreed:

Initially when making this thread I though it would be easy for me to pick at least one game, but after reviewing each year, advancing to "the next round" in the NCAA is always a good thing, regardless of how any eventual loss might occur. So I eventually went with - WOULD NOT REMOVE ANY LOSS.

2 losses? I'm not sure what you mean.

Unless you're thinking of pre-NCAA games. For this question I ignored how exactly not making the tourney would occur. One way or aother it just wouldn't happen.

A day that will live in infamy....a game that should have been won... a team that might have gone much further...and perhaps, a turning point for both programs.....we was robbed....the ref swallowed his whistle...

A team that included Morrison, Ravio, Knight, and Turiaf was easily better than Texas Tech. Bobby Knight pulled one out of the hat. Of all the post season games, this is the game that the Zags really dissapointed me with respect to thier potential.

I'd rather have the preceding win rather than losing the painful loss. IMHO, losing in the end makes them stronger.

Also,

MORE COWBELL!

Why would I want to remove a loss just to have another loss:confused:

UCLA loss was tough...but it was still sweet getting there

Maybe the poll should be-which loss was toughest for you to handle.

I didn't want to remove a loss then end up losing to a team the zags beat (or not make it at all).

Voted do not remove any losses
