I know there are only 13 scholarship players but as far as walk-ons being on the team, is 15 players the total number of players you can have on a roster?

And if its more than 15, how many can suit up at home games, how many can travel with the team to road games?

I've tried to google this but have not had any luck in finding the answer. If you can help me out, I would appreciate it.

are you talking about 15 on the roster or 15 to travel to road games?? Because Kansas had 17 players on the roster this season, they had 4 walkons.

Ditto UNC.

I don't believe there is a limit on walk-ons...Kentucky had like 7 walk-ons a couple years back.

I believe there was another thread about this a few weeks ago or so. UNC has so many players on their roster because they are one of the few schools left nationally that continues to field a JV basketball program. I'm not sure of the exact details but this basically means they have several 'walk-ons' listed on their roster in addition to their schollie players.

I think a team can only dress 15 to play a game, but can have as many players on the team as they want.
