If Seattle U's coach leaves, who do you think would be canidates for this position? This school I feel, is an up and coming school that just got DI status. One person that comes to mind is Cameron Dollar. What are your thoughts?

This could be a setback . They had a pretty darned good first year at D-I.

SMC's lead assistant also interviewed for that job as well.

This may delay their WCC goal. This could be a setback . They had a pretty darned good first year at D-I.

I hope not. I would absolutely love to have Seattle U. in the WCC for so many reasons already stated in here. In-state rival, another major market for the conference, previous history, academic and mission synergy, etc.

Callero is gone to Cal Poly.

Candidates for the SU job, off the top of my head:

Mike Burns, former EWU coach, WSU assistant, current head coach at CCofS.
Che Dawson, former SU player and current head coach at Highline CC
Jeff Drinkwine, current head coach at Evergreen State

There will probably be a lot of talk about Cameron Dollar. Cameron Dollar wears a scarlet letter. His NCAA violations were enough of a problem that they kept him from getting hired last year by another west coast jesuit university.

Too bad. I would say Seattle U would be a higher caliber job than Cal Poly, looking towards the future.

Mike Burns, former EWU coach, WSU assistant, current head coach at CCofS.
Che Dawson, former SU player and current head coach at Highline CC
Jeff Drinkwine, current head coach at Evergreen State

I wouldn't hire Che Dawson if I was SU.

Jeff Drinkwine, current head coach at Evergreen State

Based on that last name alone, this guy sounds like he'd fit right in with the Jesuit spirit :D

He was an assistant for Grier at USD this year.
