Very, very interesting.......

I'll tell you this.....I would much rather have Dunlap as my head coach at Oregon than Ernie Kent.

Just speculation on my end....

I bet there is something in Dunlap's contract that says he takes over on a "non-interim" level if Kent is ever let loose. He is more than qualified to be Oregon's head coach. I can't see Dunlap agreeing to this position without having some sort of guarantee. He refused to be the head coach at Arizona for a year unless the "interim" tag was removed.

Based on reports of "conditions" Dunlap had during previous interviews for HC positions over the past half dozen years, I think you're on the right track. I guess we'll see.

This is the best offseason news I have read so far...

Pat Kilkenny bringing in Mike Dunlap definitely gives him options for the potential of a head coaching change if UofO decides to go that way after next year.
