Thanks for the rivals article. An interesting quote in there:
“Last time, they kind of surprised us,” Lawson said. “Now we know they’re a running team that has great players – Josh Heytvelt, Jeremy Pargo, Matt Bouldin. We’re ready for them.”

I'm hoping the key guys on our team who were not a part of the MSG game two years ago - Downs; Daye; Gray; Meech - are the difference makers and keys to a Zags win.

As opposed to the key guys on their team who were not a part of that game....Davis and ???

According to the rivals article, Deon Thompson was a reserve on that team...

Heytvelt and current senior point guard Jeremy Pargo started for Gonzaga that night and combined for 35 points, while Bouldin scored 14 points off the bench. North Carolina’s lineup included Tyler Hansbrough, Wayne Ellington and Bobby Frasor. Ty Lawson, Danny Green and Deon Thompson were key reserves for the Tar Heels that season.

Green and Thompson have of course developed into key contributors for UNC...but I think the overall talent the Zags have which was not a part of that game surpasses the new guys the Heels are bringing to this dance.
