I've been to 12.

1st round - 5 (95, 00, 01, 02, 05)
2nd round - 3 (00, 01, 05)
Sweet 16 - 3 (99, 00, 01)
Elite 8 - 1 (99)

Favorite games were the Florida and St. Johns games. Memphis was a lot of fun as well. Can't stand Albuquerque. Traveling for work and having young kids has cut into the Zags travel lately, darn it.

GoZags!

Come and think of it, I have only been to one NCAA Tourney game with the Zags, it was the very first one against Maryland. I happened to live in Salt Lake at the time.
I need to catch up....perhaps in Detroit ??

Go Zags!

I was at the Purdue game in Albuquerque in addition to the 2 games in Seattle where we eventually lost to Nevada.

The Purdue loss was horrible. It was awful obviously because of the loss but also because Albuquerque was a horrible place to be. We became Wisconsin fans and rooted for them vs Purdue and the Badgers ended up beating Mr. WD40 combover. That was the only bright spot of that trip.

I have gone over and attended the 4 Seattle games. I remember after the Stanford game thinking how cool that was and wondering if there will ever be another chance to experience something like that again. Had no idea it would become a yearly deal! Still just as exciting!

6 games --
Seattle v Valpo and Nevada
Sac v Indiana
Utah v Xavier and Indiana
&
Oakland v UCLA

Hard to say the best -- Probably taking down the stripped pants to advance to 16 in Oakland. Fun time in the snow and cold of SLC.

Although the UCLA game was a train wreck at the end, it was a very good game. Lessons learned and taught to my kids on the BART ride back to the valley. Major bummer, but that is sports.

I'm curious if anyone saw the Wyoming, Nevada, & UCLA games live. Which game would they rate as the worst?

Was at most of the NCAA games, the Wyoming/Nevada/UCLA Bermuda triangle of games were the worst of any losses. Wyoming because it was so unexpected, Nevada because the oxygen was sucked out of the air in the first five minutes.

UCLA was beyond the worst of the worst because of the high expectations going into the game, being ahead by such a large margin with just 3 minutes to go, and mostly because we had mentally already punched our ticket and were looking towards the Elite 8. The bus ride back to the alumni 'party' was one of the longest, depressing rides I've ever taken.

Fast forward to the WKU game and it was not wonder the Zag fans had visions of UCLA redux. Know I sure had them. Looking forward to Memphis and some more great memories. Something tells me last weekend was just the beginning.

The worst (3rd) was Nevada because the refs took us out of it early, although we responded poorly.

The Wyoming coach did a great job and neutralized the Zags, it was like watching a team on a treadmill. I attended the Wyoming game, and I'd rate it 2nd.

In the UCLA game,we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. It was all about concentration and focus. You could sense that we would fall apart when the Bruins made that run to close the 1st half. (1st)

The best location for me was the Phoenix games in 99 for obvious reasons. What an amazing few days.

Seattle in 99 for the Stanford game was amazing, but was quickly overshadowed by the next game. (I still kick myself for not going to the Minn game)

SLC in 95 was fun in a happy to be there sorta way.

The expectations were so-so in Atlanta. A perfect game was needed to win and GU played close to perfect for 30-35 minutes, but in the end, it ended as expected. Was still a fun trip.

Oakland & Sac, well they were what they were...

I really hope those that are going to Memphis will have a better time than I did in Phoenix. If you know what I mean... :)

I have been fortunate enough to attend 15 of the 25 games. Most are memorable for one reason or another. The 1999 trip to Phoenix was the best. Casey tipped in the shot. I was 6 rows behind our bench. Eddie Shannon missed the 3 (looked good from my angle). Fell on the ground balling like a baby. My boys dog piled me. Tucson in 2000 was another great trip. This year was special because I was able to take my kids. We jumped up and down for about 10 minutes after Meech nailed the runner.

Would rather not discuss the heartbreaks. There have been 2 major ones. You can figure those out.

The Stanford game in Seattle -- I felt like it was the dawning of the age . . . Wow what a game!
