Dower Blocking a Shot in State Playoffs
You have to love the Gonzaga fan. Not satisfied to be affronted merely by common hosings at the hands of ragtag referees, he plows all avenues of discontent. - John Blanchette

A little bit of clarification......that game was in the section finals not the state playoffs. However I believe that shot was against one of the best players in state (Rodney Williams) who is going to Minnesota next year.
State Playoffs begin tomorrow.

I wish there were a way to listen to Sam's tourney games on the radio on line. Last year we were able to listen to many of Meech's games when he played for Klein-Collins, and it was apparent, just listening to the games, that Meech was a special player.
If any Minnesota locals have any info regarding possible online coverage of the tourney games, I hope you'll tip us off._______________________________

From the semifinals on (Sam's team will need to win tomorrow), the games will be streamed online. Here's the link where you can access the stream.
45TV is a Twin Cities independent TV station with syndicated programs and exclusive rights to broadcast Minnesota high school sports.
The semifinal should pit Sam's Osseo team against St. Paul's Henry Sibley that features 2 D-1 players, including Twin Cities Metro Player of the Year (and Wisconsin commit), Mike Bruesewitz. Henry Sibley already beat Osseo earlier this year.
Tourney favorite is Hopkins High School (alma mater of Kris Humphries and perennial state power) who is ranked as high as 4th nationally in some polls. They are famous/infamous for amazingly getting the best players in the metro area to attend Hopkins despite not living near Hopkins This year they have 4 D-1 players to include commits to Minnesota, Arizona State, Notre Dame and Santa Clara (Raymond Cowels who may be a real difference maker at SCU). Their fifth starter was deciding to play football or basketball, but now has chosen basketball and is expected to sign with either Iowa State or Penn State. Royce White (Rivals #19 in 2009) "transferred" in for his senior season, and the player on their team who is perhaps the most recognizable to board members is Mike Broghammer (UND commit) who I believe attended the elite camp at GU (BZ, correct me if I'm wrong).
