I don't get the Vasquez hate...
GU was recruiting him really hard. If Bouldin went to UConn, we would be starting him right now.
I think it's a combination of his emotions and the fact that English is not his native language. Somehow he manages to say things that just infuriate the opposing teams. Think back to his comments before the 40 point drubbing at Duke. Crowds love to hate him because of it.Comment

I for one don't hate Vasquez ... we were responsible for getting him placed in the prep school and eh, things just happened differently than hoped ... at the time.
I think that things have worked out pretty well since.
He just didn't back up his talk (and I will allow that language difference might have been a factor). In the end, our brethren schooled an ACC school and reaches their fourth straight Sweet Sixteen.
