Is it worth it ? Does it give you the versatility you need if you want to hopscotch from game to game ?

Any first -hand experiences appreciated.

Thanx,

Yes and yes. It's not a bargain, but if you are out of market, it's the best alternative. Since you're in the W, you will probably get GU feeds in your area, but it's not guaranteed, it's best if you are a junkie and want to watch lots of games. The first weekend has the most games (value) the 2nd weekend less. I've had it for several years now, and the only problem I've had with it is when they switch a game over to CBS (in your region) and DirecTV has to drop it. I take my receiver with me to New Mexico as it's the only TV I can get clearly so when they switch (or if it is already programmed in the NM region) and GU is playing, it's a real downer for me. Still worth it though. Subscribe to it, call in well next Thurs and Friday, lay in lots of beer and snacks and enjoy. It might be a good idea to have a 2nd TV nearby when you want to watch both your local and DirecTV.

I forgot to mention, they have one channel that shows 4 games at once on a split screen.

I ordered mine.
I got it last year, and liked it a lot.
For me living in the PHilly area, this package is a must for me, if any of the east coast teams playing at the same time as the Zags, chances are, I will get shut out. So, I am not taking any chances....

I have a 60" HDTV, so a split screen showing 4 games at once is pretty sweet, and yes stock up the frigerator.

Thanx,

Take Thursday and Friday off, go to Vegas, and watch games there. We got rooms at Hooters for $50 a night, that's gotta be close in price to the package.

Trust me on this, I know what I'm talking about.

I've already taken Thursday & Friday off but I can go to a sportsbook here without making the journey to V-town. . .

Thanks for the tips, everyone.

Zag Gang --
The Zips vs Zags, very cool.

Need some help on this one - I'm in California, and ulikely to hit Portland this Thursday, so...

Does any one have the link to CBS covergage map for exclusivity of games to regions? It was posted last year, help please

:link:

Otherwise, the March Madness Package from Direct my be my only route to see the entire game

Go Zags !!
