An interesting approach. I didn't even know you could do that.

So Does He play this year???? This is just a weird rule.

He didn't skip the draft, he couldn't have been in the draft because of what had happened the year prior. Instead, he's basically been a free agent all season and could have at any time signed, but he rightfully chose to stay with Kentucky considering how Tubby Smith stuck with him despite the eligibility issues. Now that Tubby Smith had left, he had no reason to stay.

wow, UK better make a big hire soon. Otherwise, it's going to hurt recruiting big time. Patrick Patterson is already rumored to be heading to Gainsville. If they also lose Jai Lucas, the UK team would be terrible next year. They'd probably be behind Florida, Tenn, Vandy and even LSU in the SEC. They'd be struggle to finish 500 in league play. I hope the UK faithfuls will give the next coach at least 5 years to turn this around.

UK gets all the bad karma coming to them for the way they treated Tubby. Seems like a classy guy that regardless of what he did it simply wouldn't be good enough for the honks in Lexington.
