6th most efficient offense, 10th most efficent defense and the only team to be in the top 10 in both. Let's hope the numbers bear fruit in the Dance.

I noticed UW is 9 spots below GU.

Gonzaga is also the only team in the AP or RPI top 25 to be in the top 10 in both categories. They continue to remain #1 in the nation in field goal percentage defense and 2 point field goal percentage defense.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's RPI plummeted 14 spots to 60 according to KenPom. Playing EWU might hurt them more than help, especially if any bubble teams have good conference tourneys. They could be looking at and RPI of 70ish by just playing EWU, regardless of the score. I don't think they'll blow them out either.

Kenpom doesn't list RPI, just his own ratings. SMC's RPI is in the high 40s and will probably stay right where it is after the EWU game.

While numbers aren't the whole story, these certainly don't hurt. And FWIW, for those that don't follow kenpom all year, GU has been Top ~15 pretty much all year long, even during late December.
