From my contacts...Donovan, Izzo, Calapari, Crean and far behind Travis Ford(Umass) is getting a sniff. Gilepsie Texas A&M looks like a nice candiate, but his NCAA violations and DUI at Illinois dont hold well with AD Micth Barhardt.

Are your "contacts" Sportcenter?

URIT, I say this too all the time.:)

Why does everybody rag on Dave Libbey. He's not so bad...in comparison to Dan Niksich. :lmao:

I'll never forget a Sun Bowl basketball tournament circa 82-83. When I saw Niksich prance onto the court, I put my head in my hands and loudly moaned "ohhhhhhhh-noooooooo". My girlfriend asked me what's wrong, and I told her I saw him referee (badly, I might add) a bundle of Zag games during my 4 years at GU. Her response? "He couldn't have been that bad".

With still 10 minutes to go in the first half, she turned to me and said, "you were right!"

Famous Quotes:

"Why did BZ ban Birddog?"

BTW TZF, I went to Ferris for one year & had Dan as my JV Baseball Coach. He was a pretty intense guy.

Only saw him officiate Zag games for a couple of years (92,93,94?) before he had health problems & retired. Don't remember his skill set one way or the other.

He was a hellova Tight End @ Whitworth in his day.
