Truly an all-around hilarious story, especially the part about Mayo telling Floyd not to worry about recruiting and that he'd handle it. To make this more interesting, if he did the same thing he did to Tim Floyd to Mark Few, what do you think the reaction would be? Think we'd turn him down? I really have no clue, just wondering what everyone else thinks.

The PAC 10 is going to be insane to watch next year...so many teams will be stacked...

Oh yeah, Mayo is CRAZY! As in the artist formerly known as Prince, crazy...

It sound as if he plans to have a documentary crew film his entire year, USC better be jumping through some serious hoops to keep his amateur status in check.

:D I want a Gonzaga game against USC next year now. What would his reaction be right after Pargo dunks on him? or would he even bother to run back to try to defend it?

LOL! This is one of the funniest stories I have heard in a long time.

"O.J. doesn’t give out his cell," he said. "He’ll call you."

This kid sounds like a force of nature on par with Gilbert Arenas and Oprah. I love it.

Entire year? You mean his 5 months as a college student. After his final game next year, he will probably never step on the USC campus again.

This guy and Mayo almost ended up together. Really sad.

The kid comes off like a head-case, but some of it is pretty explainable - if you were featured in SI as a future NBA player since the 7th grade and had a all the big colleges and the NBA watching you, it would be pretty easy to turn out like he apparently has. Honestly, I think it's too bad he didn't go to a traditionally African-American college - could you imagine what he would have done for one of those teams? It would have been insane.

I'm happy to be watching this one from afar. I can't imagine how he'll treat teammates, coaches, and others around USC.

Another stat to watch: how large his concubine will be in 12 months...

He should change his name T.O. Mayo.

I am certain his career will take a similar path.

Peace

He's definitely ready if he already has an entourage.

Somebody told Mayo that U.S.C. stands for "University of Spoiled Children" so he figured he would fit right in. . .

I think the NCAA compliance officer probably needs a raise. . .or a straight razor.

When will one of the USC football players give him a reality check about who is king there?

5 months as a student? Try 3.

I'm guessing he won't go to any spring semester classes, since he doesn't need to be eligible the following fall.
