I stumbled across something similar to this several years ago and it has added hours to my bracket filling out time. What's even better is that it appears this is only one of THREE parts.

Granted, it never has helped as I have never won anything.

Or, I may need to modify my methodologies and just pick by which mascot I like best.

All of that bracket stuff is like horse handicapping. . .you can spend hours going over the stats, trends, tendencies, horses for the course, and so on. . .and never cash a ticket.

Last year I posted some historical performance by seed by round info. More for fun than anything. Have done so again this year HERE (http://www.guboards.spokesmanreview.com/showthread.php?t=19109)

ESPN appears to be taking the stuff Pete Tiernan does on his own web site ( which he used to simultaneously post on ESPN ) and has their own guy updating it for this year's tourney

Here's some more links. These two are recent posts by Pete Tiernan. Hopefully your head doesn't explode from all the data:

SDUQ...great post!! As I read it, when I saw Illinois at no 4 matched with no 13 Creighton. Actually Creighton would beat Ill. Bet the Blue Jay faithful thought so too.

Except the horses are 17-20 year old "kids."
