SG had an awesome second half, but
I gotta go with Micah for Energy and confidence in both halfs.

I only watched for about 10 minutes of each half, and based on the box score it looks like Gray gets the nod with Micah a close second.

That said, I saw Austin dive for a loose ball in the second half with GU up 25...so kudos to him as well as the whole team.

Steven Gray. He ties his career high. I'm wondering if that was against Davidson because he had 7 three's in both games. I love to see him shoot the way he did tonight. And he even smiled again. That's important too.

Honorable mention to Micah. Micah was pretty hot from the 3's too, and is now driving to the basket more and getting fouled more. He's developed a much better game in the last few weeks. I think he is coming on strong at the right time of year.

Got to be Downs. Gray had a nice 2nd half but all of his points were when we were way ahead. Downs brought nice energy and it's good to see him scoring again.

I thought he turned in the most complete game. Steven found his shooting eye in the second stanza and that was great fun, too.

Gray only had 21 in that game against Davidson. No points except for his 7 3's.

Micah for bringing it from the tip to the final buzzer=G-Unit

Funny, I said to friend at the half..."man I'm getting worried about Gray not being much of a factor" So way to step it up Steven! Ira was a menace on D and had his hands on everything!

I really want to say Downs for the non-stop hustle on both ends, but I think I will say Gray not for his points but for the incredible blocked shot when he was litterally one on four on an LMU break.

Meech honorable mention for his first basket where he was one on four with not much of a lane and turned on the afterburners to somehow score. The LMU guys were left looking at eachother like "what happened"!

Micah in the first half, Steven in the second, and I'll Gray the nod for the game, it was great to see him break out of the scoring funk he he's been in for the last few games.

Micah for 1st half
Steven for 2nd half
and Ira! for value-per-minutes-played: 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks, 4 points

I'm glad Steven got hot after the game was in hand, but I agree with snebzag.

Gotta go with my boy Steven! Great to see him smiling and playing loose tonight. Along with his 23 beans he had 6 rebs and 0 turnovers. Nice work Bainbridge!

Downs set the tone early and there was no looking back. Good to see the return of Steven in the second half, but Micah's energy gets the nod tonight.

Hard to argue with Steven because he nailed the 3's. All around play goes to Micah....he's really superior. Just looked great tonight. His work tonight is why he was highly rated on Draft Express for so long. He's very talented.

"Downs was tough in both halves"; "Gray was couldn't miss in the 2nd"

Yup, but this game was over in the first half if not the first ten minutes.

And Daye was a big big reason for that first half surge and that 17-2 lead 8 minutes in the game.

AD is the GUnit of the game. Thanks for playing.

exactly. gray had a huge 2nd half, but it was when we were up by a comfortable margin. micah is the player who came out and gave us the fast start. thanks coach for showing us the lineup we use in march!

I will go with Gray. It could be argued that his stats got padded in garbage time. But then again, the whole game was pratically garbage time.

Steven earned this one with his career high tonight. Quite a battle Steven and Micah have going here, whatever happens, we know we have a 6th man that teams are going to have to plan for both offensively and defensively.

Micah - brought it from the opening tip. HM to Gray for the sweet stroke.

Gray. Off the bench he found his shot and confidence. Certainly Micah was a beastman in that first half.

Kudos to Meech for the increasing maturity in his game. He's learning space and footwork to go along with his speed and deep bag of tricks.

this GUNIT voting for this game proves my point about how some people only vote for the top scorer. :lmao: gray scored almost all his points after teh zags had blown it open. comfort 3s if you will. micah was the player who set the tone, and opened up the game with the intensity thats been missing. its a free world, vote for who you want but man its humorous to me.
