Is she the most highly regarded player to ever join the GU women's team?

People are going to love Courtney. The best comparison I could make is that she'll be the women's team version of Dan Dickau.

Kelly Graves and his staff have had a remarkable string of recruiting success lately.

Freshman redshirt Janelle Bekkering turned down an offer from Stanford to sign with GU.

Transfer Tiffany Shives was a McDonald's All-American who transferred from Michigan State.

Vandersloot, Bekkering and Shives will all make contributions next year.

I can easily see another WCC crown and trip back to the NCAAs for the next 3-4 years. Shives is amazing to watch--shooting, passing, court awareness, toughness. If only Angie Bjorkland had stayed home. Wow, what a thought.

yeah, these lady zags are going to be good for some time. the talent is so much better and with graves ability to use that talent its going to be scary good.

I'd wish Aubree Johnson had stayed home as well. And Braiann January. And Emily Westerberg. And Reagan Pariseau(hot). That Arizona State is loaded with talent from Spokane area talent. If future talent ends up as well as past talent, then I hope Coach Graves can lock up local talent.

That ASU talent didn't quite match up with Rutgers, they got their cute little butts beat, bad.
