With a win tonight, Gonzaga will have 12 consecutive 20 win seasons. The other teams to win 20 or more games for the past 11 seasons: Florida, Syracuse, Duke and Kansas.

haha, sweet... absolutely amazing really - it seems like you'd HAVE TO HAVE 1 bad year in there somewhere.
complain as we may, what a delight it's been to win A LOT of games every year for a long time now!

And wrap up no worse than a tie for the WCC Championship......again. :)

That's an impressive list.

We (the fans) have been really spoiled for the last decade, plus. That is pretty heady company, a testament to the consistency of the staff and recruiting pipeline.

Sometimes, in our quest for elite status and a FF, we sometimes forget how far we've come and how enjoyable the ride has been.

Next stop, 11 straight invitations to the Dance. After that, who knows.....

We seem to whine now . But if we dipped lower than 20 or so wins, can anyone imagine the outcry then? lol.....

Count me among the guilty. 20 D-1 wins is 20 wins. Impressive no matter how you dice it.

And there is this too:

Gonzaga’s ninth consecutive league title extended the longest active streak in the nation. The Bulldogs tied with the Kentucky teams of 1944-52 for the fourth-longest streak in NCAA history. UCLA holds the record with 13 straight league titles from 1967-79.
