If this one is close, I'll eat Liver and onions.
Everybody scores for the Zags.

Zags are favored by 34; I'm thinking we should cover that!

Zags are saving their best for Saturday night.

Why?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Zags win this one.

Heck, lets just get the remaining predictions for the season out of the way.

Gonzaga over Pepperdine.

Gonzaga over Santa Clara

Gonzaga over San Diego

And the surprise of the season, Gonzaga over South Carolina Upstate.

Zags drop the game 33-38, similar to the way Illinois lost --
But, we had to play blindfolded and one arm behind our backs. Spike had to yell out directions and barked when we were to shoot.

The positive side; we hold LMU to 29% from the floor.

I hope we can hold LMU to under 67 points, considering they average 55 a game. Not to mention the fact that GU is an astounding 11-0 when holding opponents under 60 points, and 8-5 otherwise. I predict that this game will help improve Gonzaga's 3-pt FG% Defense in a GU rout.

PS- ESPN's game preview had this little tidbit at the end:

The Bulldogs lead the series 51-20 and are 29-6 against the Lions at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

Note to ESPN: We have NEVER lost to LMU at the MAC. According to this same article, we last lost at home to LMU in 1991. Good job guys.

I'm changing my prediction to Gonzaga 100 Loyola Marymount 52. The Zags do not hold anything back tonight. I'm sorry I was so affected by the negativism on the board before my last analysis. Let's get realistic. The Zags are going to blow these guys out of the water. This is our last week-end at home in conference play. The Seniors are going to go with class, and we're going to see some very nice basketball tonight and Saturday. The Zags have sometimes been quite hospitable to guest in K2, but not tonight. The Zags, I believe, are tired of all the negative talk. I see torpedos exploding all over K2 tonight for some reason. I guess my interpretation of that is that it's going to be some kind of a surprise attack by the Zags, and that we will see explosions bursting out all over the arena. Sounds like a lot of fun to me, but if you don't like these kinds of wipeouts, you may skip this one.:D But if you're like me and you like dunks and 3 point shooting tune in for a night of fun.

I said, "I'm changing my prediction to Gonzaga 100 Loyola Marymount 52." I'm glad I did too. I was kind of close I thought. 6 pts off of Zags and only 3 off for Loyola M. At least I had the spread covered.
