WOW, I love my Zags, but my bet ($50) is on LMU to cover. Hoping for a nice 33 point win:D

They are just baiting the betters to take the points. :D
Or is that to goad them to take the Zags and give up the pts. against a 2 win team.

The fact is Few just doesn't run up score like others. We get up 25 we will see a lot of Will, Andrew and PMag.

I'm with ZagManFan. If I was in Las Vegas today I'd be putting my $50 down and take a 33 point win. I don't see the Zags covering that spread and I hope I'm wrong.

Plus, you gotta figure there is some totally unheralded LMU player who will torch us with five or six three's.

GU won by 33 AT LMU. This game is @ home. Teams usually play better @ home.

http://kenpom.com/team.php?team=Gonzaga actually shows GU winning by 36.

Why would a bet on LMU +34 be a sure thing?

btw, fwiw, other WCC games on thur:

Pep @ Por -14
USD @ SMC -14

You mean Urban Meyer right?

34 is a lot of points and considering they ran into trouble with USF, 34 might as well be 50. Lay off the chalk and cheer on a 15 point Zag win.

IF we only beat LMU by 15....its almost as bad as losing to Memphis by 18!

We beat Santa Clara and Big John Bryant by 42......Cmon

Zags 95- Loyola 51

Unexpected points....Brown 11, Sacre 4, Foster 3, Sorenson 3, CPM 4:D

Lions averaging less than 48 pts a game on the road this year, with a low of 39 against the mighty Seattle U Chieftans. If they score more than 50 against GU, it will definitively signal that the Zags will exit , once again, in the second round of the Dance.

Just kidding. But alas, displaying the admirable christian virtues of good will, charity and tender mercy, da boyz manage to eke out an 84 to 49 victory, leaving the board, once again, to lament the team's lack of a "killer instinct".

Oh wait. I forgot to mention that by game time, clueless bettors, many of them Zag fans, had swelled the line to GU -36.:(

You have to realize that the people who make the line are in the business of making money....people in vegas know more than we do...#1 rule of betting......zags by 40

Also, GU won @ home over USF by 34 & SCU by 42. Statistically speaking, both of those teams are noticably better than LMU.

And when GU played earlier this year @ home vs a team with stats & record similar to LMU (Texas Southern), GU won by 42.

And finally, last year a lesser GU team beat a similar LMU team @ home by 33.
