What amazes is how crappy all those %s are.

I don't know, 72% as a team isn't horrible. In fact, if the Zags were doing that over the course of their entire season, they'd be in the top 60 nationally. Instead, they are 115th. It is surprising that good perimeter-shooting teams like Porland suck at the line.

Well, Uber actually thinks the national numbers are crap too. One team at 80%. It's a frigging free throw. Ok, enough of that. Yes, 80% is high aspirations and not realistic for a team average.

But Uber wasn't just looking at GU's 72% but the overall league numbers. Just looking at the year stats (Uber doesn't know where you can find just conference numbers ranked nationally), GU's place at 115 leading the league is pretty crap--must be the lowest ranked conference leader.

But the overall league spread, ain't that bad:

LMU 142
Pepp 143
USF 146
SMC 148
UP 159
USD 161
USC 174

There's no South Florida's in this group.

Any yes, SMC's FT% has dropped tremendously in conference play.

just a guess, but probably the first time in a while that GU doesn't lead in FT attempts...
