What if none of the players on GU's team make it in the NBA?

What if none get drafted in the first round? or at all?

What if this is not a top 20 team?

What if they lose in the first round of the tournament?

What if they don't make the tournament?

What if they're just not as good as we thought they were?

Is this still your team?

#For the record, my thoughts are:

I'm not sure if any will make it in the NBA, but I think maybe 1 or 2 might.
I think maybe 1 gets drafted in the 1st round, and not this year. Maybe 1 or 2 in the 2nd round.
I don't think this is a top 20 team. But they could be by year's end.
I think we will make the tourney and might lose the 1st game, or might make a little run. It will all depend on matchups.
Gonzaga is not as good as some thought they were. Obviously not a top 5 team like earlier in the year. None of the tough teams that we beat early in the year turned out to be very good.

And YES.

What if none get drafted in the first round? or at all?
wont happen.
What if this is not a top 20 team?

What if they lose in the first round of the tournament?
they will be like alot of zag teams. players fault always?
What if they don't make the tournament?

What if they're just not as good as we thought they were?

What if none of the players on GU's team make it in the NBA?

I think a handful will make an NBA roster at some point. I am skeptical at this point that any of them will be impact players, however.

What if none get drafted in the first round? or at all?

Austin Daye will certainly be drafted in the first round.

What if this is not a top 20 team?

They may not be. Actually I think they are about exactly around the 20th best team in the country right now.

What if they lose in the first round of the tournament?

I will be very bummed. Like I was last year. And the year before.

What if they don't make the tournament?

I will be shocked. They are making the tournament, PERIOD.

What if they're just not as good as we thought they were?

I'm prepared to accept that. The Memphis game was a serious reality check.

Is this still your team?

Undoubtedly.

The Memphis game was a serious reality check..

Yes...the Memphis game sucked, not denying that.

But as much as people want to point to that game and say "Oh my gosh we just are not that good of a team".....you could equally point to the UCONN game and say "hey we are a pretty damn good team"

-Who cares, this is college hoops. The kids should concentrate on practice, the next opponent and school.

What if none get drafted in the first round? or at all?
-see previous response

What if this is not a top 20 team?
-So much parity in CBK it doesn't matter except in regard to seeding and recruiting.

What if they lose in the first round of the tournament?
-My expectations are in check.

What if they don't make the tournament?
-I will cry

What if they're just not as good as we thought they were?
-Already proven. We lack "toughness" and mental fortitude. We have no post presence. That said, we have the ability to compete with any team in the country if we "bring it."

Is this still your team?
-Always

- What if GU never had players that even had the slightest chance of making the NBA?

- What if GU hadn't been ranked in the top 20 in the last 25 years?

- What if GU hadn't made the NCAA tournament for the last 10 years, let alone made it past the first round?

- What if GU couldn't even compete in the WCC, let alone on the national scene?

It's human nature to always want more, no matter what it is you already have. But I've found that the key to happiness is to be thankful for what I have and to offer prayers of gratitude for all the blessings I've had the privilege of receiving throughout my life. Thank you Gonzaga for what you are and thank you GU players for all your hard work and for the entertainment you've given me through the years.
