    I Might've Missed This - Mark Few

Few tied Dan Fitzgerald's Gonzaga career win total at 252 last Saturday. It took Few 10 years, it took Fitz 15 years.

Hank Anderson leads Gonzaga's win total at 290.

In the WCC, two more wins (122) for Few ties him with SCU's Dick Davey for 2nd-place. SCU's Carroll Williams leads the list at 165 wins.

    Just fyi.

    Congrats, Coach Few!

Let me guess---this is the new math, right?

(Few, at 252, behind Carrol, at 165?)

how many WCC wins is Few up to now? Averages 14 or so per year...working on season number ten. quick math...he's around 130 or so?

oops, actually he averages closer to 16 including tournament. assuming those count towards record, he is much closer to 150ish.

          Few is 120-13 in WCC.

Of course, there are 7 WCC games to go yet this year, plus 2 WCC Tourney games. 9 total.

I always sucked at reading comprehension.

              And at the new math.

The only math skill needed in lawyering is the ability to divide by 3.

This isn't the only skill, actually. The really, really skilled lawyers show up at the office for 8 hours, only work 6, and bill their clients for 10.

Even Einstein would be left scratching his head at that bit of mathematical jujitsu.

                      That's perfectly sound math.

I believe there was a quote in there something like, "If you even think of that guy's name over the weekend, bill him for an hour."
