What's your pregame, game or postgame drink of choice? Make that a double, bartender. I have a bad feeling I'm gonna need it.

If I go to the bulldog before the game, I like to get a pitcher of hefeweizen. If I am at home I usually have Blue Moon in the fridge.

A shot of Cuervo with a Pabst back.

Yeah, I'm classy.

A can of Sprite usually gets it done these days!

Pepsi (preferably out of a can).

I agree with out of a can. Pop is the best out of a can, no question about it.

Hmmmm. What would I drink?

Beer. Homebrew if I've been busy. Micro if not.

Cheap red wine. Scares the other team's fans when I bare my teeth at them.

Beer. I keep a nice variety of homebrew and good micro's on hand to suit whatever mood I'm in. There's nothing better than a Zags game and a brew.

I usually start with a nice scotch (my one expensive habit) and then move into microbrews for the 2nd drink of the evening. Occasionally stick with scotch for a big game.

I don't think this is a "Foo" thread at all. I think BZ has gotten some news that would drive a man to drink. . .

I have a bad feeling I'm gonna need it.

And I don't think he's talking about feeling bad because he didn't switch to GEICO, either. . .all year long, BZ has harped on the theme of "get tougher." Maybe to his Point of View, this Zags team will not live up that mantra.

On the other hand, this could be Bob's 2009 version of his 2007 & 2008 "We're Doomed " shtick.

For the record: A Vodka martini ;) ( Made from Pierre's best stuff )

I remember back in March, I took a massive infectious disease exam in the early morning, hustled home to catch the Zags-Davidson game. Cracked a microbrew as per my habit for gametime, justifying the 11am beer by the fact I had just completed said exam.

Obviously, my drinking accelerated quite a bit with every Stephon Curry point. By the time the game was over I was a bit intoxicated, just in time to go meet with my advisor, a pediatric cardiac surgeon, for lunch.

Luckily, he's an Illini alum and also a hoops fan, so he understood the circumstances :)

My first impression was that BZ had bad news that would be coming shortly. I hope I am wrong.

Oh, and I have to agree with this:

Everything from Deschutes is good and worthy of a Zags game. I'll be consuming some of this tonight.

I didn't know there was going to be an open bar, and the guy really knew his stuff! He made me a mojito.

Diet Coke: Alcohol takes more from me than I of it. But I am concerned that BZ needs a double, and the timing. I am hoping he is just foo-ing us, b/c if this thread involves our coach and phone calls from other universities, I will skip the bar and go straight to the pharmacy. Klonopin, a bucket of it.

In honor of my college days, I will spend today drinking a handful of Kokanees followed by a night of scamming random beers and drinking Busch Light from the keg's spill tray.

I unwind with a large triple C--carrot, celery and cucumber. I was drinking a triple c when farmer knocked the ball out of Batista's hands in the closing seconds of the UCLA game and apart from smashing a coffee table, hurling the remote control at my goldfish tank and threatening my wife and son, I was the picture of calm moments later. And I owe it all to my large triple c.

I'm about ready to throw up after reading that, a double whammy of your drink and the reminder of that game.

Diet Pepsi Max and Rum. The diet pepsi max has the extra caffeine for energy and ginseng which makes the drinks "good for you". No sugar in the mixer helps with the next day feelings. And if it is a victory finish the evening with
