I just found out about this....whatifsports.com

You can have the computer matchup any teams from any seasons in most sports and play the games over and over. It's free to join.

I just went and pitted last year's Zags against last years SCU. You can even alter the starting lineups. We won by 3,11, and 16 in my simulated matchups. With a little tweaking this could be quite fun and addicting. We can play the Zags against Carolina teams of the past or match up against the best UW teams.

You can even play an all-Zag tournament with all the teams from 1999 to present. I just had the 03/4 Zags beat the 99/00 Zags by 3 points on Turiaf's 25 and Stepp's 17. Adam was held to just 9. The 99/00 teams was led by Richie Frahm's 26, Casey with 16 and Santangelo with 12. It evens gives all of the shooting, rebounding, block stats for the games.

Let me know if any of you have been playing on this site before.

Thanks ZagPower, there goes the rest my work day. If I get in trouble with the boss I'm blaming you . . . .

Hey, I have been hooked WIS's Hoops Dynasy for over two years now. I coach Div.2 Wheeling Jesuit University in the Wooden World. If you want to have fun give this a try. Someday I hope to get a Div1 job, but you have to start out in Div3 and work your way up.

I just replayed the UCLA game with 05-06 teams and Gonzaga wins 94-89 in overtime. Adam and JP had 29 points each.

This helps, but that game still hurts.

I have tweaked the 07/8 Zag lineup to increase Austin's and Josh's average minutes from 20 to about 28. It seems to turn us into a super team.

We beat the 79-80 UCLA squad by 4 with Austin outscoring his father 17-8.

We get hammered by the 90-91 UNLV team by 13, 14, and 32 points..ouch.

The adjusted 07/8 Zag teams does beat the 81-82 North Carolina team with Jordan more often than not.

I was hoping to raise Big Will's minutes to 30 a game and play him against the 1968 UCLA squad with Lew Alcindor but they didn't have that old Bruin team on file.
