Hey everyone.

This semester, the Opinion page for the Gonzaga Bulletin is taking extra steps in order to make sure that the Gonzaga community doesn't hesitate to make its voice heard.
One of the things that I've always loved about GU Boards is that so many people come on here to talk about Gonzaga, the world, politics, sports, you name it. And for the most part, they are always strong, insightful discussions.

That is what I want for the Bulletin Opinion page.

I want Gonzaga students, alumni, faculty, etc., to share their viewpoints in the pages of the Gonzaga Bulletin. Before this past fall, we saw a decrease in the amount of opinion pieces being submitted to the Bulletin. But why? Gonzaga is home to people of all different backgrounds, majors, and lifestyles. Let's show that in the Opinion page. Let's actually get those voices out there for the Gonzaga community to read. By doing so, we show the Gonzaga community, and the whole world (via GonzagaBulletin.com) what Gonzaga students think about the issues.

If you would ever like to write in to the Bulletin, we would love to have you. Letters to the editor and commentary, up to 700 words, can be e-mailed to bulletin@gonzaga.edu.
Don't want to write a longer piece? Then head to The Bullpen on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=42240874409), and you can post shorter comments, the best of which could end up in the Gonzaga Bulletin.
And you can always comment on all the stories at www.GonzagaBulletin.com (http://www.gonzagabulletin.com)

Let's get the voices of Gonzaga heard.

And if you ever have any comments or suggestions on how to improve the Opinion page, feel free to send an e-mail to bulletin@gonzaga.edu
