In today's paper, it was noted that Marcie Few will be delivering the Fews fourth child at any time.

There was mention that the coach may not make the trip to Utah due to the family situation. It all depends on the baby's schedule.

Best wishes to the Fews as they prepare for their Christmas/New Year's baby.

Congratulations to the Few's.

With that who coaches the team if Few needs to stay with Marcie? Lloyd, Rice, or Giacoletti? This would be tough for the team, but Mark needs to take care of his family first.

Pargo! I thought it was decided Jeremy needed to take more ownership of he team after its recent stumbles. What better opportunity than by designating Jeremy player-coach during Few's paternity leave?

Yes, family is most important, but...
Let's be real, I'm pretty sure he was up against this issue a few years ago (no pun intended) --
The odds of Coach not being there are about 100-1 unless someone has more definitive info on timing.
SLC is not far away in an emergency via a charter.

And no, NOT Pargo - Rice would do fine if the long shot comes through.

Is this twins, or will they have to have another for a standard starting rotation? :D

One more and they have a team! She is a tough woman. My wife had five. The last birth was unexpected twins. We were lucky though cause the last one to come out was a little girl. Big suprise. I had a mother, three sisters, but having a daughter is different.

May Marcy have a easy birth. It cannot be easy for her.

Happened to see Few tonight at a South Hill restaurant.

I think Rice should handle the delivery and Few stays with the team. That's what good assistants do.

I see her or Coach when I do "pickup" duty at St Al's. He looks tense. She has marched through this pregnancy like a trooper. SHe's in such good shape, it's been nearly effortless. She's an amazing woman....and I'm sure she'll do fine. Great parents.

Few stayed home tues (while the team went ahead) but will be flying to Utah today. I doubt it will be a commercial flight, fwiw.

Here's hoping the team will give Mark and Marcie an early baby gift of a W over the Utes.

My bride and I had a little boy on the day of the Texas southern game. It has made the loses a little easier to take. Kind of puts things in perspective. Hate losing but Brooks (my new son) doesn't seem to mind to much.

Congrats to the Few's!!!
