A year or two ago I complained about the quality of Zag gear available. I think it is much better now. Wednesday before the game I was in Spokane and went into the new Zag store on the first floor of the Kennedy Apartments. If you have a chance to go there, do it! Great selection. Of course, all my Xmas shopping is now done. Xmas came early for me though. When I checked into the hotel in Pullman, I learned it was the team hotel. I ran into #11 (my man Andrew) in the lobby and had a great talk for about a half hour. If there is a better ambassador of the program, I don't know who it is. That young man is going far. Then my friend (now my BFFL) who got us tickets to the game, surprised me by escorting me to our courtside seats (at this point, I'm certain this isn't a game but rather, the rapture). But I realized the rapture actually came during that 76 seconds in the second half when the Zags scored 10 unanswered points. All this was only slightly tainted by the crowd reaction around me (as you might imagine, they were ALL Cougars) to my vocal support of the Zags and the Beat WSU button I was supporting. Oh, the sacrifices we Zag fans make.

Gee whiz, no need for a mea culpa! Save that for later, you may need it. ;)

Terrific story. Witnessing an historic game from courtside must be very, very cool.
