Was the WSU-Zag game a letdown?

I mean, I was pumped up for this game and stopped watching it after GU went up by 30?

I expected a lot more epic game from these teams. WSU just didn't show up in the second half.

I wrote a blog about it.

    Thanks all!

    Was it a let down?

Yeah, if you're a Cougar fan.
    But we don't play nobody.

hmm.. zags go to pullman, scrape together a first half lead, and then come out and pummel the pac 10 home team into oblivion leaving coog fans depressed. all the while showing great character in putting it all together. sounds like anything but a letdown to me.

        No letdown here

I enjoyed watching the game. I like to see the Zags executing on both ends of the floor like they did last night. As for the Cougs, I am pleased that the Zags helped usher them back to the relative obscurity they enjoyed prior to the '06-'07 season.

        Go Zags!

With 2 older brothers that are WSU alumni (and me the lone Zag alum), it felt good to putting a whoopin' on the Cougs last night. The trash talk leading up to the game was palpable.

That second half was a thing of beauty. We dropped 42 points in a half on a team that was averaging allowing 47 over a game.

Let down? No, it was exactly what I was hoping for. I believe that game will be a preview of the typical WCC game this year...outside of Saint Marys. Even then we might run them out of the gym too, if they're not on.

I watched the game until the final buzzer and savored every minute. The Zags put on a clinic in the second half.

How in the world could you stop watching?

Sounds like you're more of a college basketball fan rather than a Zags fan. Stop watching?!? Are you kidding me?

Me too. Then I watched the repeat at 9:30 on FSN and savored every minute of that one too! Still got upset with some of the calls in the first half.

Whatever the exact opposite of letdown is, well, that's what the Cougar game was to any Zag fan.

I could not have hoped for a better outcome. I will now root for the Cougs for the rest of their season, but I could not contain my glee throughout this entire game.

                            We didn't pummel them!!!!

That is not a sportsmanlike comment. That is in your face and is not classy. Please refrain from lighthearted razzing of our bretheren because beingthe "Best in the West" is a tough burden to bare.
