I've got to have a few White Russians on Thanksgiving -- Love em this time of year. After that, i'll try and find some room to slug down some beer during the game.

Very Nice, Zagphish!

That is one of the finest beers I have ever sampled. A little tough to find here in CA. Where is it sold in Spokane?

If you are serious about "beverage" you must plan ahead 3 Wins in 4 days...
Game one OK St = a good local Zen from Maryhill, works well with fast and spicy things and has a faint taste of leather and tobacco but will finishes strong.

Second Game will be against MS so we will need a Bigger Bolder drink from a walla walla washington winery a 2005 Meritage Red Wine, This pinnacle of blends shows blackberry, which will confuse the Michigan boys they have never seen a blackberry, a hint of cedar, like the forest of big players on our front line and nice coffee notes which will be the 9 deep players that will keep MS up at night. This wine is Firm, like our defense and has well focused tannins like GU's energy.

The last Game will be against the VOL's so we need to a more senior drink, something that will get everyones attention. A bottle of 2000 Mouton-Rothschild A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Merlot, just like the ZAGs 86 % from the line and 14 points from turn overs.
This wine offers a saturated ruby/purple color promising aromas of toast, coffee, licorice, creme de cassis, and roasted nuts again just like this game... The smell of toast reading the box scores of our victory while having a coffee, the licorice and creme de cassis is like our defense sweet and satisfing and the roasted nuts are like the non believers who didn't think we would bring home the trophy

The during game wine will be a 2005 Martinelli Russian River Valley Zinfandel.

At Huckleberry's on the South Hill. Fortunately I've stocked up on the 90 Minute - it goes fast! I've also got a case of the 120 Minute aging in my basement. Hwah! Soooo tasty!

I am now onto Stone Vertical '08. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

I went to buy some Guinness at Safeway and found that they just started to carry this:

I haven't had a Smithwick's since I was in Ireland in 2004. I'll have one during the Seahawk game.

For dinner, we'll enjoy some MacMurray Ranch Pinot Gris:

And then for the Zag game, it'll be:

Unfortunately when I was a poor law student, I always had Kokanee followed by Black Velvet and diet pepsi for the Zags. That has been my MO since, I only have those beverages for Zags games now. If we don't make the NCAA tourey, I'll change.

The kids and wife are asleep; now its time for Guitar Hero.
