This guy is a BEAST!!

http://www.nic.edu/athletics/index.asp?area=Men's%20Basketball&subarea=profile&season=2008&id=642

I heard that Ronny got him interested in GU and that the coaches placed him at NIC. It is true that he is a frosh, but as long as he is academically eligible he can still transfer after this season. Hence, my question is, is he one of BZ's mystery recruits??? I also heard from a very, very, very reliable source that UCLA is talking to him right now and that his interest might be shifting. The same source said that GU coaches have been coming out to Coeur d' Alene on a weekly basis.

Interesting. Just out of curiosity, have you seen him play? Where are you getting that he's a "beast"?

As for an LOI, I guess we'll find out soon enough...

yea I have seen him...I would be really surprised that if he did not turn out better than former NIC recruit Paul Rodgers

I have a feeling that BZ will commenting within a couple of hours.;)

I like the kid. He can run very well for a 7'1'' kid(what i have heard). I like the idea of a frontcourt of Sacre and Guy at the 5, with Dower and Poling at the 4. Very good and strong frontcourt. Has size, depth, rebounding, and scoring. Not to mention Dower is a beast at blocking shots, from what i saw at the Bob Gibbons Tourney. We will be very good. Not to mention we will have Meech, Gray, Bouldin(1 more yr), Gibbs, and Arop in the backcourt. Not sure if there will be much a dropoff.

He'll be a Zag, but it's not sure if it'll be 2009 or 2010. NIC Coach Phay is saying 2010 right now. Things could change, however. Some Zag fans on this board will be driving up I-90 Tuesday to watch him in action.

Great news, if things stay the same.

Guy puts in a double-double on Tuesday night in front of the Zag-faithful in attendance at NIC... and then signs on the dotted line Wednesday morning to become an '09 Zag? ;) Should provide for a fun week with LOI Day approaching.
